a little about me
Creating has always been my favourite thing to do. It was the place I found comfort and peace, and I think even from a young age, I knew there was something about making things that just felt like me. Whether I was drawing, painting, building or simply experimenting, I felt most like myself when I was creating. Creativity has always been more than just something I enjoyed. It became a way for me to express things I didn’t always have words for, make sense of the world around me and give my mind somewhere to wander. It has followed me through every season of my life, and it’s still where I feel most at home.

my creative journey
As I got older, I knew I wanted to do something creative, I just had no idea what that looked like. In Year 12, my artwork became a way of sorting through information and experiences that were much bigger than me. My major final artwork explored the effects of divorce, something that had a major impact on my childhood, and creating it gave me a way to process and communicate something that was difficult to put into words. That piece became a really meaningful part of my creative journey. My Year 12 studies were later used as example folders for high school art students, and my final piece was selected to be exhibited at the SASA Gallery in the city. I finished Year 12 with a 90 ATAR and found myself stuck between two paths: becoming an art teacher, or studying design and seeing where it could take me. I chose the second, and that decision opened the door to a whole world of creativity I didn't even know existed.

where i am now
Today, I’m lucky enough to have turned something I’ve always loved into a career. I’ve grown from a girl who could spend hours drawing at her desk into a designer who gets to bring those same ideas into the digital world and work with businesses, people and projects from all kinds of backgrounds. I’ve learnt so much along the way, but I think one of the things I value most is the relationships that have come from it. Getting to know the people behind businesses, hearing their stories and helping bring their ideas to life has become one of my favourite parts of what I do. I’m still learning, still experimenting and still figuring out where my creativity can take me. And honestly, I hope that never stops. There are so many things I still want to learn, make and explore, and I’m excited to keep growing into the creative I’m meant to be.
